AHA - I have success.Whilst my problem seemed limited, I thought more people might have had a problem with wanting to make sure OS X defaults to an external USB radio instead of using the built in adaptor (perhaps it was not performing properly). That led me to this stack exchange thread where I found that you could set older versions of OSX to automatically switch the primary Bluetooth device over to a USB Bluetooth device you have plugged in by running a terminal command:Code: sudo nvram bluetoothHostControllerSwitchBehavior=alwaysThis, apparently, changes the NVRAM boot arguments. It looks like this is now the default setting for newer versions of Mac OS. So, I changed this behaviour to 'never' with:Code: sudo nvram bluetoothHostControllerSwitchBehavior=neverAnd as soon as I plugged in my USB Bluetooth adaptor I heard the little windows jingle that a new USB device has been detected by my guest!!Could this then be built into the UI of future versions of VB with a menu option.
I plugged in the dongle to usb to get it through built-in iMac bluetooth, XP found it, but couldn't install because no drivers were found.
E.g.:'Capture USB Bluetooth devices by the guest or host?' With select options/ drop down:.Guest./.Host.I've summarised this issue and the fix. Posts: 6 Joined: 23. Aug 2017, 11:10.
